Method:

Through the adventures of our friendly cat and mouse (Minou and Trottine in French classes, Mifu and Tina in Spanish classes) and their colourful friends (below), this programme cleverly links in with the seasons, weather, food, clothing, animals and other child-related topics.

Skills:

How to count, ask and answer questions about yourself, greet your friends, say what you like and dislike and explore numerous topics such as family, home, getting dressed, having a party, going to the beach and playing with friends. Create confidence with words and phrases, develop listening, concentration and social skills while enjoying a variety of learning activities. 

Activities:

Lots of wonderful rhymes, songs, stories and activities offer opportunities for role plays, questions and answers, games and singing: all designed to increase confidence and fluency. Spoken skills are given priority.

Class Structure:

Children play, chant, sing, act and display their own work creatively, mainly through stories, songs, games and action chants. Opportunities are created to enable children to use their new language imaginatively and confidently through a main conductor: mini stories. A short story in every session helps children internalise the patterns of the language: learning new words and phrases.
