Method:

This is the perfect programme for our adolescents starting their journey learning French or Spanish or continuing on from our Bonjour/Buenos programme. Explore the personal and social world of adolescents and the culture of France or Spain. There is an emphasis on the creative use of language. We learn everyday topics and in addition learn to tell the time, describe people, write a postcard and email and discover regions of each country.

Skills:

This is an in active programme where the children acquire confidence to use the language in everyday situations and most importantly in their world. The key skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are covered throughout the programme, making it a perfect preparation or ongoing practise for the 1st and 2nd year curriculum of secondary school and Junior Cert.

Activities:

Songs, flash-card games, short role-plays, reading, listening, writing and drawing. Fun interactive games to practise vocabulary and phrases. Classes include lots of role plays and also include bingo-style games, word games and quiz sessions.
